Configuring Akai MPK Mini MKII to Control GarageBand Playback

Hello,

I recently purchased an Akai MPK Mini MKII MIDI controller and I'm having trouble configuring it to control the Play, Record, and Stop functions in GarageBand. My previous MIDI controller, the M-Audio Axiom 25, had dedicated buttons for these functions (see attached picture), which were very convenient for my studio projects.

The Akai MPK Mini MKII lacks these specific buttons, and I haven't been able to figure out how to set it up for similar control. Could anyone provide guidance on how to configure the Akai MPK Mini MKII to manage playback and recording in GarageBand?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
