My MacBook Air is asking me to choose a start up disk, how do I fix it?

If your Mac starts up to Options with a gear icon

Pressed the Command & R button, but I met with a Lock Screen upon boot.
Firmware lock
Set a firmware password on your Mac - Apple Support
Internet Recovery
Boot into Internet Recovery (Option Command R) and from the dropdown menu: Utilities> Disk Utility> run the First Aid on your Macintosh HD (and the "Macintosh HD-Data" volume as well ; If errors are found and repaired, run again until no errors reported.

Have you somehow or from some reason changed the Startup Disk from the Internal Drive to another Drive ?
