tv.app on Sonoma MacPro 2013 is ending videos before the end

The video in tv.app is systematically ended before the end. It can cut off up to 4 minutes!

I do not have "play automatically...." crossed.

TV App on Mac refuses to play certain clips from the beginning With certain clips I've imported into the TV app on Mac, each time the file is double-clicked to play it, it always starts from some place other than the beginning (like :47, for instance). This is not due to the "Remember playback position" being toggled on; the video will always start at :47, with this option selected or not. If, once the video has started playing at :47, I manually scrub back to the beginning, it will play normally from the beginning; it will just never start at the beginning. I can't find any setting that would be causing this.

TV app doesn't respond or continue playback after closing screen for 30 seconds Whenever I pause my show and close the laptop and come back after at least 30 seconds the video doesn't continue playing even after scrubbing ahead or behind, only fix is to force close TV app and reopen and go back to the tv show I was watching. Very annoying when I am watching and need frequent short stops within an episode and need to pull up show page to continue watching where I left off.

Appletv not responding to video control input once movie stream has started. Appletv not responding to video control input once movie stream has started. Firmware is latest version I can find and start a purchased movie (using either hardware or software 'remote') I can play and streaming starts BUT.. the TVApp does not then accept any control inputs - no pause/stop or ability to navigate. The menu for Input / Chapters / Start from Beginning remains on screen but can't navigate to it. The only working input is to hold/press the Menu to exit or to call up the 'tv' app switcher then close the AppleTV app. Rebooted and total power off/unplug, s/w update checked, remote battery checked - so I am fairly confident this is a bug relating to the new AppleTV app. Prime/Disney and other streaming services all running and responding fine. Ideas ??

That’s because macOS Sonoma isn’t supposed to be installed on the 2013 Mac Pro. According to Apple, the oldest Mac Pro that could support the version, is Mac Pro 2019 and later. If you used a patcher or any other tool like that, it might cause some problems. Hope this helps!
