No sound when sending an email in Mail on my iMac. Recent upgrades to OS X keep changing things. We used to have a variety of mail actions that provided sounds. The whoosh sound when mail is sent IMHO is the most important but it is now missing from the settings.

Mail->Settings->General-> make sure the “Play sounds for other mail actions” option is checked. If it is checked, uncheck it, restart your iMac, head back and check the option. Test
