iPhone 15 Pro Max loose charging port

Hello all! I noticed about a couple weeks after using my iPhone that the charging port has become loose and the charging cable can slip out very easily. I returned that phone and got a new one under Verizon's device protection subscription. A couple of weeks after using the second phone the same thing is happening. I tried using different charging cables both Apple and non-Apple branded as well. This is very frustrating since this is an expensive device and even the cheapest USB-C phones never had an issue like this. Is this a defect that can be covered under Apple's limited warranty? I canceled my Verizon warranty. Any suggestions?

Do you carry the phone in your pocket? If so, you may be getting pocket lint in the port. If there's lint there, every time you plug in the cable, it jams it further in. Use a strong light and something non-conductive like a toothpick to remove anything that's gotten lodged in the back.

And, pull your pockets out when you do your laundry.
