Keyboard shortcuts such as cmd-q and cmd-x do not work on new Logitech keyboard

I just purchased a new Logitech MX Keys S keyboard and attached it to my Macbook with the wireless receiver.

I'm able to type text with it, but none of the keyboard shortcuts work - for example, cmd-x types a character instead of quitting the app. Same for cmd-x - it types x instead of cutting the selected text.

I saw an earlier post that suggested holding down fn-l for a few seconds, but that just prompted me to select a character to insert.

I've rummaged through the keyboard settings but not seeing anything to change. The keys are all set to do the correct thing (cmd is supposed to be cmd).

I actually was just able to resolve this.

After some additional digging around, found a suggestion to press fn-o to reset the keyboard to Mac layout. It turns out the cmd and option keys were switched.

That worked.

As Only a Test - do you get the same issue when using the Builtin Apple Keyboard ?
