Why is my keyboard typing the wrong letters on my Macbook Air?
in my mac air m1 , while i am pressing the key Z its type Y when pressing Y its type Z.

You may have selected the German keyboard layout when your keyboard is actually US, or vice versa.
If you only use one layout, delete the others in System Settings->Keyboard->Input Sources->Edit...
Click the ones you don't want/need, and press "-".
If you do need more than one, activate "Show input menu in menu bar" and it will clearly show in there which one is active, plus you can choose another when you want. (There are also shortcuts for this if you prefer)
