Slow Delivery of IPads

I ordered an IPad through Amazon on July 16 and it has been twice delayed. Are there shipping delays though the Apple website as well? Wondering if I should just cancel the Amazon and deal directly with Apple.

Delayed iPhone shipping time from AT&T I just ordered an iPhone from att yesterday, with next day delivery. Now, i know sometimes there’s an issue with that, but it said my order will be shipped November 12th😳 why so far away? I need it like yesterday, or at least week of wait time i can see. But 10/12/25? What size screen, what color, how much storage, iPad Pro or Air, or what, cellular or not? It’s not uncommon that some combinations are locally in short supply. This is also Apple’s Back to Schools special promotion for college students, staff and faculty. iPads are popular with many college students.
