How to resolve "Cannot verify payment information" issue on App Store?

One day ago i removed my credit card from app store to change my region. Now i want to add it back but i cant it says “Cannot verify payment information”

Getting a Method of Payment to Go Through:


A. Is your Method of Payment seen here?: Payment Methods that you can Use with your Apple ID - Apple Support. If not, then this is just no longer an option.


B. Contact your Bank:

You may need to run this by your financial institution (bank), to approve of this, as suspicious activity can be blocked.


C. Disable a VPN:

Are you using a VPN? If so, disable it.

For Financial Assistance, Contact Apple Store Support:

You need to contact Apple Support Directly. This is a User-to-User forum. We are all volunteers. So, as you may suspect, no one here has access to that information — and that is a good thing, BTW. That’s why for Financial Assistance, you need to contact Apple Support. They’ll see what’s going on and will run you through the fix.

You had a card on your account.


You then removed it so you could change country setting.


You then tried to add the card from the old country to the account set to the new country?


That could be the part Apple does not like. Apple unfortunately has not, in the many years I have been on this forum, made a clear statement saying your payment method must come from the same country, but neither have they stated the opposite. Many people here will claim it does have to be from the same country. If that is the case, that could be your problem.
