Can a Logic Pro 11 chord track have divisions smaller than 1 bar?

The chord track works really well, and I really like the new bass player instrument. I want to make it play a sequence that has chord changes twice per bar, but it seems that the smallest division in a chord track (within a single chord sequence) is a whole bar.

I can work around it by making separate chord regions, but it is much more difficult to create and edit, like this:

Is this a limitation, or is there some setting to allow more frequent changes?
