Question: When I play a non-steam game on my M2 pro Mac Mini a dialog box say ‘Entering game mode’. If I play a game in steam the mac never says entering game mode. Am I losing performance on steam?

Steam can only run on Apple Silicon M2 Macs through Apple's Rosetta — so yes it is not native.
Is there a performance difference between playing games on Steam vs non-Steam on Mac mini M2 Pro?
