"3rd party NVMe controller. Loss of MMIO space."

my 2014 macbook air has been crashing for the last week, with some kind of kernal panic headed up with the error message in the title.

there are a lot of posts about this in the last few years; i just thought i would mention that i seem to have solved mine by resetting the NVRAM.

i'll put the link for how to do this below. my mac was crashing every 20 minutes or so, but since doing the reset i've had three solid hours of no problem. doesn't prove it worked, but it's promising!
