Would a broken LCD on my iPhone 11 cause dead pixels and ghost touch?

My phone is a iphone 11 and the screen is cracked dead pixels have slowly been bigger and wider than usually and a few days after the dead pixels there have been ghost touches on the lower bottom of the screen. I'm not sure if its the cracked screen that is making the ghost touches or is it the LCD making the ghost touches and the dead pixels. Can a simple screen replacement help or will there still be ghost touches and dead pixels later in time? Please Help!
