Why is there nowhere to see or change where scanned files are stored! So difficult to find. Have to move each file in preview after scanning. Ridiculous. It never used to be so difficult!

They should be wherever you saved them.
Before just saving, you can change the name and folder in the titlebar.
If you are scanning to Preview, there isn't a file until you save it.
If you want a file, save to a folder.
If you want it to open in Preview, then save it to a file.
Do you not have this?
If not, click the button titled, "Show Details"

So I renamed them and in most cases I moved them to another folder. In uploading dozens of files I did not move two. I yhen tried to find tgem. As I said vefore I found them by looking for temp files. This was very difficult.
If you’ve found that if you don’t move them before saving, they end up in a temp folder, there you go. Make sure you move them. Or, just save them to a folder instead of Preview.
I don’t know if there is anything you can do to fix that.
Yes but where is the preview file they are sent to? I missed moving a couple of files and took me ages to find them!
They are in whatever format and folder you choose.
I could just send them to downloads in future though preview is quite useful for renaming etc. I only found them eventually by looking for temp files.
But they are not in a file for preview even though that is what was selected. YOu cannot choose beyond that.
If you choose Preview instead of a folder, it will open the scan in Preview as an unsaved document.
Is it not opening the scan in Preview?
I did save them. That is the point. And then I could not find them!
