Is it normal for iPhone battery health to be 97% with 60 cycles?

I brought a new iphone 15 plus on April 30th. Today July 28th the battery health is 97% with 60 cycles is that normal !!! My previous 13 pro max got stuck in 94% for 2 years how this can be explained for a brand new iphone ? Anyone with same issue ?

Batteries age differently depending on usage, charging conditions, environmental conditions and many other factors. You really can’t compare two different batteries and expect the same behavior. Apple’s standard is battery should be 80% or higher at the 2 year mark. Anything between a new iPhone and 2 years is irrelevant. No two batteries will ever age the same on a day to day or month to month basis.

The 94% number that you saw did not accurately reflect the actual condition of the battery. There is no way that the actual Maximum Capacity of the battery was at 94% after two years......unless......you never really used the phone at all, kept it off almost all the time and charged it back up every week or so.

Make an appointment at the Apple Store or take your new phone to an authorized Apple service shop to confirm that the current 97% would be normal.
