Cannot Access iTunes Extras on Apple TV or Apple TV App on iPhone

For at least 6 months, I have noticed sometimes movies I have previously purchased do not allow me to access their iTunes Extras, even though I purchased them in HD with the Extras.


I have already tried the troubleshooting steps at this link of a Knowledge Base article: If you can't view your iTunes Extras - Apple Support


I even tried live-chatting with Apple Support but they didn’t understand the issue so I gave up.


Anyone else experiencing this, find any solutions or answers?

We understand your predicament in not finding the Extras button where it should be.

As this is a user-to-user forum, and I don’t have these particular titles in my Library to compare, I would like to refer you to Apple staff. Please contact the iTunes Store staff about issues with specific iTunes Store titles.


One caveat: If you bought the standard definition (SD) version of the movie, or if you rented the movie, then the movie won't have iTunes Extras. If you can't view your iTunes Extras - Apple Support.
