my new ipad pro m4 battery drains quickly

i just got the new ipad pro m4 for around a month. not long after i got the ipad i realized the battery drains quite quickly ( around 2 minutes per 1% on drawing app and i would say the drawing app i used isnt exactly the heavy type ) this worried me and i decided to ask around couple of my friends who also have ipad and most of them said theirs dont drain that quickly. so i searched around and someone suggested to restart the ipad and it does help its been a week or so since then but then it started to drain quickly again for no reason. (all background apps permission are blocked so none of the apps have the permission to run in the background and i only open drawing app without anything else not even other app "tab" is open i always make sure to close all app tab b4 drawing) im wondering if theres some kind of problem to my ipad i already made sure by asking several ppl (yes they also use their ipad for drawing) and they all said its not suppose to drain that quickly what worries me is that it got fixed for a bit by restarting it but now its back and its only been a week or so. is there any ideas of why this is happening? should i take my ipad and get it checked?
