Is there a chance my MacBook Pro stores an archive of iMessage conversations?

I have a MacBook Pro running OS 14.5 and I would like to know if anybody knows if there is a location on my MacBook that stores the archive records of iMessage? I don’t have iMessage backed up to the cloud and somebody deleted the messages off my iPhone. I’m trying to see if I can retrieve the archive data if it exist from my MacBook.

Unless you can see the messages in the Messages app on your Mac or have archived them using an application such as TouchCopy or iMazing, the only other place you might find them is in your Mac's backup. Are you using TimeMachine?

There are no TimeMachine backups. I have another older macbook pro that i have not used for years and there is an imessage archive folder that i was able to see messages that are several years old and have been deleted on my newer macbook. Is there an archive folder for messages in os 14.5?

As I said above, no. Unless you took specific actions to safe the messages, they are gone.
