Unable to load remote content remotely when reading e-mails

Hi, I have an iPhone Pro 15 running the latest software iOS 17.5.1 and when I download my e-mails, I get this message, " Unable to load remote content remotely". I tap "load Content" and I can read the full e-mail.


This was happening on both my Home WIFI and also when I switch the WIFI off and use Mobile data, I get the same message.


It also happens on my iPad (iPad doesn't have a SIM card). The issue is intermittent. Has anyone one in the group had a similar issue and was able to resolve the problem.

Hi, thanks for your prompt reply, when I go into Privacy Protection, I only have one setting, " Protect Mail Activity". This is switched on, should this be switched off. Currently, I can read all content on my emails with Protect Mail Activity switched on, both on the iPhone and iPad. The problem is intermittent.
