Getting ads for other random podcasts in Podcasts app feeds

Many apologies if this has been asked before, I couldn't figure out the right search terms to find other posts about this specific issue/complaint. If there's already a thread on this please let me know!

In the past couple months, I've started seeing episodes of other unrelated podcasts in my various podcast feeds, including podcasts I pay for to remove ads. The random episodes are clearly ads because the episode titles start with "You might also like...". They play in my feed as if they were normal episodes. It's extremely irritating, especially as I listen to podcasts to go to sleep. I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting to only listen to the show I'm actually listening to. What is going on here and how do I stop it? I'm willing to switch to a different podcast app if I have to.
