Sometimes my voice is very choppy to others. I was told by my carrier that it might be due to poor Wi-Fi quality. I'm only 8 ft away from my high-end router.

Are you using WiFi calling? If not, your router has nothing to do with this. Does it have this issue when you are away from home?
