Apple Wallet CVV Requires 4 Digits not 3

Trying to setup a credit card on Apple wallet and when I get to the CVV cell it requires that I have 4 digits. My card only has 3 digits and the system will not allow me to move to the next step. Please help.

If this is an Amex card … you use the 4x digits printed on the front of the card.
