Careful: IOS 17.6 has mfi error with Oticon hearing aid.

Today I upgraded my iPhone 12 Pro Max to iOS 17.6. My mfi Connection with Oticon real 3 hearing aid did not work. After deleting the hearing aid in IOS a new installation worked "sometimes" (5 attempts gave one connect signal). But only one hearing aid connected to the iPhone. Streaming always ended after some seconds. The iPhone lost then contact. The Oticon companion did not work either.

The connection of my hearing aid to the computer (MacBook Pro 15'' with M1) worked after a new installation.

Yes we have found this too. I work as an audiologist. The trick is:

turn off the hearing aids
go to settings, accessibility and hearing devices
forget devices
turn the phone off and back on
go to settings, accessibility and hearing devices
make sure the aids are not there at all
turn the aids back on and wait for the phone to find them both
once you see both the aids, click on them to pair
it will ask you to pair the twice (once for right and once for left)

This should now restore them back to how they were pre iOS 17.6 update.
