AirPlay from Apple Music on Mac to Apple TV works only intermittently

I like to stream music from the library on my Mac to my sound system in another room via Apple TV. A few days ago it stopped working. It will begin playing okay, then cut out, even though both the display on my Mac and the TV show it continuing to play. What can I do to fix this?

Restart your modem and router (yes even if everything is okay) and also restart the computer in Safe Mode per the directions in the link. Then restart normally and re-test.

BTW, do you have any of the following third party apps installed on your Mac?

• Antivirus Apps

• Cleaning Apps

• Security Apps

• VPN Apps

• Maintenance Apps
