Cannot not make floating keyboard bigger

Hello. I have an IPad Air 13 in (M2). I have looked up all the instructions to try and make my floating keyboard bigger. I tried the 2 fingers first but it did not work. I do not have a split screen and I even have restarted iPad. Please help and Thank you!

You can only make the floating keyboard bigger, if you have first made the floating keyboard smaller:

and

You need to be in an app that uses the iPadOS keyboard eg: Notes or Messages

Place two fingers on the floating keyboard.
Spread your fingers apart to enlarge the keyboard back to its full size
