Turn off comments for a podcast my wife and I created?

My wife and I created a podcast and we have a crazy ex posting poor comments and her friends… can we turn comments off in Apple Podcasts so people cannot comment?

Is there a way to manage podcast comments if we cannot remove comments altogether?

I have searched for both options through Podcast Connect wi the no luck. I have also reach out to Support and not received any emails or contact from them.

if not, Apple, you need to create this feature for us podcasters please! Apple Support! Please help. Thank you.
