my iPhone 15 has had two episodes when I am google searching that I have a virus and if I do nothing my SIM card will be corrupted. Can you advise? Each time I closed out and when I reopened it it was fine.

This is a very common scam that is trying to trick you into buying completely useless software.
Your phone does not have a virus.
Just close the message and keep working.

The "help" you will receive is from criminals posing as tech support, who need YOUR help in providing them with the keys to your bank or credit card account.
Those are scams. Avoid visiting the websites which produced them.
