Since I have worked in the Dutch language, Pages does not recognize my English anymore!
It underlines almost everything I type in English.
I have changed the keyboard (under system settings) back to English.
When I go the General (under system settings) English is set as the primary language.
On top of my screen it shows CA Canadian as the language chosen. What am I missing?
I don't want to turn off the 'check spelling' under Edit.

The keyboard and language settings are not involved in this. Spell check is governed by system settings > keyboard > text input > edit > spelling. And also by Pages > Edit > Spelling and Grammar > Show Spelling and Grammar. Set things to English instead of Automatic.
