My mum has gave me her Apple Watch she has disconnected the watch from her device her watch app isn’t showing her watch anymore so we can’t see it on there and when log into iCloud’s it doesn’t come up either says her only device is her iPhone 12 but when I’m trying to set the watch up it’s still saying activation lock?

activation lock is not a thing on the watch it's a theft protection on apples servers
it needs to be removed
