My question is, Am used iPhone 7 and I want to update the IOS to 16.And I have been trying to update it but no results , so what was I do

The iPhone 7 is NOT compatible with ios 16 or later.

iOS 16 requires an iPhone 8 or newer.

iOS 17 requires an iPhone XR or newer.
