How can I prevent Apple Music from queuing songs separately?

When I tap play next on a song or multiple songs in Apple Music, why does it queue it separately from the rest of my music? Im not a playlist type of person so one of the best features to me was when I was able to move & put my music in the order I wanted.

Song get put in middle of queue when “play next” option is used from music library Sometimes I add songs to my queue from my music library using “play next” option, but at times it get entered in middle of the queue. I think it happens usually after me moving song up the queue or scrolling through the queue. How can I change the Apple Music Queue settings? I had an iPhone 11 for a while and couldn’t fit updates, now I have the newest iOS and Apple Music update and it changed the way the queue works and I was wondering if there might be a setting to change to make it different, the way it worked before was if I was listening to something like a playlist I could add a song to play next or last, which is not as good as the new queue which is a chunk above the playlist but it doesn’t let me add a song from the queue to the playing without having to listen to the whole queue which is my issue, I like to make my play next in the manual order I make and I can’t add songs from either list to the other so I have to listen to the whole queue first to get to the playlist but I’d rather get them into the playlist without having to add them to into it fully, and I’ve learned that you can shuffle the queue in but that is also annoying because I like the order my songs are in and just want to add two or three more and put them in maybe behind a song but I can’t do that. With all of that said I just wanna know if I can do anything to make the queue able to move a song down into the playlist without having to shuffle the whole thing [Re-Titled by Moderator]

How can I change my 'Favorite songs' playlist order back to descending on Apple Music? I have my playlist order as descending so i expect it to play the songs after it when i play the first one, but it just ends and when i check the queue it shows nothing playing next, which means the order has changed and it still thinks im playing ascending order. how do i change that ?
