Here is what I do.

I got the 3rd party app "Alarmed" iPhone app. All of its alarms appear on my Apple Watch.

I paid the in-app upgrade fee ($5 U.S.) to get "Nag-Me" and "DayMinder" support features.

On my iPhone

  • I set an alarm for the first hour, which for me was 6:05pm.
  • I set the Nag-Me for every 15 minutes, repeating 3 times, if I have not dismissed this event.
  • I set the DayMinder to repeat every hour for 5 hours.
  • I set the Repeat for Every Day.

You could

  • set your start for 9am
  • Set the Nag-Me to whatever you want. Useful if you are distracted when it first occurs, it will keep nagging you to do it.
  • Set the DayMinder to Every 2 hours for 3 hours, which should cover 11am, 1pm and 3pm
  • Set Repeat for Every Day.

If you did not want to pay for the in-app purchase to get "Nag-Me" and "DayMinders", you could just create 4 Alarmed entries for 9am, 11am, 1pm, and 3pm, with a repeat of every day.

You could most likely do this with 4 calendar entries that repeat.

I have found that "Alarmed" is my most valued iPhone app, that I have. I have found I prefer it over reminders, the calendar app, any anything else I've found.

Besides VERY flexible alarm creations, you can create timers and activate them when you need them. They can have nag-me features as well.

And it also has Geo-fence alarms. That is to say, you specify that when you are within 'x' radius of a location, Alarmed will trigger an alarm, so you can set up something to get milk on the way home from work as you are passing the grocery store, instead of forgetting and driving right by.

I have my anniversary, birthdays, reminders to renew my license, registration, personalized Domain Name, remind me to eat lunch, take out the trash at 6:30am on Monday that has a 2 week cycle, with a different one that says take out the trash and recycling every other week on a 2 week repeat, etc....
