I'm having problems with NFC, when I tried to use a verification that needed to scan an NFC chip it showed me an error that said "NFC is not enabled" and I can't find any option to turn it on. What can I do?

There’s no on or off switch for the NFC reader. It’s enabled by default.
Update to iOS 17.6, force restart, and test again.
Maybe: Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset Network Settings
If that fails, contact Apple Support, and ask them.
