UA Interface drop outs with M3 Max
My UA Apollo x8P Audio Interface disconnects suddenly and randomly from my very expensive, brand new Nov. '23 MBP, M3 Max, 36GB, 1Tb SSD and running Sonoma 14.6 (14.6 is only running as of today - 14.5 outta the box)?!
Other than the usual... "should'a waiteeeed/Never upgrade until v2/20_20 vision in hindsight" comments I'd appreciate any input from those in the same boat!
Had to quickly upgrade from my age old mid 2015, constant fan noise, Intel i7 MBP (yes i used Migration Assistant initially but did two clean OS 14.5 installs since then and have had exactly the same results) to keep a session alive - critical stuff!
I thought the laggy behaviour of the old Intel i7 MBP was bad??!!
I'm worse off than I was with ol' Laggy Intel - can't even get the Apollo to stay online long enough to do any meaningful work.
WTAF apple and/or ua?? - why the funk can't you lot get it together before you release, endorse, promote and make blatantly false compatibility claims for this absolute Pissh you throw out to us??
Luckily it's nothing 'Mission Critical" eh... at least not for you guys??
Funk it though huh guys... bloody customers always complaining that sh1t ain't workin' like it's s'posed to - HOW DARE THEY???
Meanwhile; back here in Real'sville - the rest of us are only trying to make a living?!!
Having invested serious dollar in your products over the years I think I speak for most when I say and I certainly don't consider this statement outlandish or unreasonable - I EXPECT THE FUNKER TO FUNKING WORK - I MEAN CALL ME OLD FASHIONED BUT ISN'T THAT THE NAME OF THE GAME????
For those also frustrated by this - I'm open to trying anything at this point (cue the Terminal Genius'). I've done the security modification in recovery mode, allowed all that is required in Privacy, ticked all the accessibility boxes, the mic for my DAW all after going 'blank slate' with FUNKING Sonoma on two separate occasions... at the end of my rope now and fit to kill!!
All input greatly appreciated
