Unable to install iOS 17.6 on my iPhone 11.

In order to hard reset your iphone you need to press and release the volume up button, then press and release the volume down button, and then hold down the right side button until the apple icon appears on the screen. Once I completed a reset I was able to download and install IOS 17.6

What happens when you try?

Can you post a screenshot of the whole screen, it could reveal why you aren't able to update.

Make sure you:

• Are using a WiFi connection (not a hotspot).

• You have an active cell signal (You need both WiFi and cellular service to perform the upgrade).

• Are not using a VPN connection.

• Have your battery charged at least 50%. Better yet, keep it plugged in during the update.

• Do not have power save mode turned on.

• Do not have a beta version installed.

• You have at least 10 gigs of storage available.

iPhone 15 Pro Max software upgrade: Eventually did a full reset (erasing all content and settings), then installed backup and updated. Voila, but painful.

Me too. I’ve also done a factory reset and it’s still saying 17.6.1 is temporarily unavailable. Very frustrating!
