Screen flickering on your iPhone 14 Pro after updating to iOS 17 can be frustrating. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Basic Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Restart Your iPhone:
    • Press and hold the Side button and either of the Volume buttons until the power off slider appears.
    • Drag the slider to turn off your iPhone.
    • After the iPhone turns off, press and hold the Side button again until you see the Apple logo.
  1. Check for App Updates:
    • Open the App Store.
    • Tap your profile picture at the top right.
    • Scroll down to see pending updates and release notes. Tap "Update All" to update all apps.
  1. Update to the Latest iOS Version:
    • Ensure that your iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi.
    • Go to Settings > General > Software Update.
    • If an update is available, tap "Download and Install".
  1. Adjust Display Settings:
    • Go to Settings > Display & Brightness.
    • Toggle off True Tone and Night Shift.
    • Lower the brightness to see if it helps.

Advanced Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Reset All Settings:
    • Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset All Settings.
    • This will reset all settings to their defaults without deleting your data.
  1. Restore iPhone via iTunes/Finder:
    • Connect your iPhone to a computer with iTunes (Windows) or Finder (macOS).
    • Select your iPhone when it appears in iTunes or Finder.
    • Click "Restore iPhone". This will reinstall the operating system and may resolve the issue. Remember to back up your data before restoring.

If the above measures do not help you resolve the current issue, you can restore iOS using firmware for your iPhone.
