GarageBand for AAC / Accessibilty user

I am working with a young AAC user who wants to be able to access GarageBand, but the access would have to be indirect (with the help of an able-bodied partner) as the AAC user uses a 3rd party, non-Apple eyegaze device for speech generation. The end goal is the user having a folder structure containing as many (as is reasonable) of the GarageBand functions as individual options so they can inform their partner what they would like to do next in GarageBand. The partner would then use the standard touch interface on an iPad to carry out the AAC user's wishes.

I need to build out the folder/options structure on the 3rd party device's software and am wondering if anyone either has a page set already built out for TD Snap (a long shot), or a flow chart of GarageBand's options that I could reference as I'm building out thefolder/options structure? Someone from Apple's GarageBand group, perhaps?

Am no expert in this area, yet your request surely deserves some response. At the least we may get a discussion underway, so others have more opportunities to contribute.

If you haven't already discovered them, wondering if the Garageband User Guides may be useful.

Apple does provide some free, in-store, hands-on, learning sessions ... eg: learning more about Garageband's various functions from an Apple specialist may be available in your location.
