That computer can't be upgraded past High Sierra, or run software which requires an OS newer than that. To install 10.13.6, check for updates in the Mac App Store.

High Sierra is six major versions behind the current version of macOS (Sonoma). High Sierra is also the end of the line for all 2010 iMacs. If you are running macOS 10.13.6, no further OS upgrades are available.
High Sierra is still a good platform for running old software – especially 32-bit programs that won't run on Catalina and later. But if you're looking to run modern applications, it may be time to replace that Mac.
