Is it okay to power off my iPhone to manage battery condition when I am away for 2 weeks?

I need to travel abroad for two weeks and won't be able to take my iPhone 15 Pro with me. I'm considering powering it off while I'm away and would like to know the best recommendation. I'm concerned about the battery's condition and phone health.

Thanks.

For phones that are to be stored for long periods, Apple recommends charging to 50%, then turning it off completely. But it probably doesn’t matter for just 2 weeks. Just leave at least 50% charge on it. The problem with leaving it plugged in and off: If you have a power interruption, when the power comes back on the phone will turn on automatically.

Hi _targus,

Powering off your phone should be enough to conserve your battery and phone health while you’re away. Nothing to worry about! Hope this helps!
