Deleting Messages from a Stolen Apple Watch.

So my Apple Watch was stolen and has no passcode, yes that is very silly of me I know but I didn’t ever assume something like this would happen. The device was put on lost mode, but what I’m petrified for is access to the messages.

I called Apple and the rep said not to erase it (2 weeks ago) and I listened to her which was extremely silly because my messages contain sensitive information like password exchanged between me and bosses etc. Unbeknownst to me I didn’t realize they can still see messages and stuff.

I just pressed erase on iCloud now and if the watch is on airplane mode it will never be wiped meaning they will forever have that information. I’m petrified honestly. What do I do? I need some advice please.

If the watch is ever erased, the thief will then be able to set the watch up as if they were the owner.

There isn't anything more that you can do now except hope that the watch connects with the internet at some point and is erased, messages and all.
