Is it best to keep the water app on my Apple Watch on all the time or turn it off after exercising?

Are referring to the Water Lock switch in the Watch’s Control Center? If so, all it does is lock the Watch Face/Touch Screen so accidental touches or water doesn’t cause false touches/actions on the Watch Face/screen. The only other function of Water Lock is to help eject water from the speakers so the sound is not muffled on the watch. What exactly are you hoping to accomplish? If you think it somehow seals your Watch or speakers, it does not and never has.
