How to fix screen sharing stuck on FaceTime

While on FaceTime with my girlfriend, when she is screen sharing some times her screen share will get stuck censored. Like what happens when she says she goes into the FaceTime app while screen sharing. I apologize if I’m not using the correct names or can better describe them. I haven’t had an iPhone since the first one.
