Based on your Etrecheck report, the basic problem is your internal drive is almost full (>96%). This is way too full, almost to the point of failing to run at all. Get a decent external drive and move at least 250GB of data to it and off your internal drive.

Further, Chrome is a known resource hog; I suggest getting rid of it and using Firefox, Brave or Safari instead.

Also, do attend to replacing the battery. An exhausted battery can become a fire hazard. Pay close attention to the possibility of swelling, that's a key symptom of impending problems.

The bottom line is that you need to free up a lot of space on the drive FIRST, because that could be masking real problems.
