Long-press the result from the search (but not as long as to display the popup menu) and drag it. Note that you won't see the icon giggle when long-pressing it. As soon as it becomes slightly bigger (it's barely noticeable), drag it.

Here is another way: Long-press the result from the search (keep pressing), wait for the popup menu to appear, keep pressing and drag the icon to the Home Screen.
Try a search in the App Library. Not all the apps are displayed in the App Library.
Hello 6x6! So I find the app by searching for it, and it opens when I click on it. I don't see how I can drag it back to the Home Screen, though. When I touch it, it either opens, or I get back to the App Library screen.
Howdy. I thought i had already replied to this, but? Anyway, if I touch on the settings icon, it opens settings and when I press home, it's gone again. I have to search for it to use settings. How do I get it out of jail? Thank you.
Thank you 6x6. It did come up in a search. Do you know how I can get it back onto my home screen?
Great! Now just drag the app back to the Home Screen.
