Exporting 360 in FinalCut Pro

I have a 360 VR video that works fine on my VR headset. But the video is without a sound, so I put the video in FinalCut Pro added sound, and exported it.

But now the VR headset doesn't play it as VR. Do you have any ideas?

Three questions:

1 - If you go into your project settings, is it set to "Video Format 360"?

2 - If you go to Export your file, what does the Projection Type field say under "Settings"?

3 - Have you tried right-clicking on your exported file, and choose to open it with Safari? In this article: Share 360° clips and projects in Final Cut Pro for Mac - Apple-support (SE) Apple recommends playing back 360 videos with Safari.

Since YouTube detects the 360 metadata, that means that Final Cut Pro exported the 360 video file correctly. That's good news in a way, because that means the problem isn't on Final Cut Pro's end. But that also means that we here in the Final Cut Pro section of Apple Support Communities can't help you with this, since it's not a Final Cut Pro-related issue. Instead, you should post your question on the PICO Community help forum. I wish you good luck.
