Setting up Command Post with FCP

I finally downloaded command post after many years of "going to"! Now, trying to set it up to use a midi controller (nano Kontrol2) with FCP. I have watched Iain Anderson's 2018 video in which he sets up that exact device and, although I've set a few controls (see screenshot), nothing seems to happen. What am I missing? Also, is there a more detailed user guide than the one on the Command Post site which seems a bit brief?
