How can I log out of my daughter’s iPhone without physical access?

Hi, my daughter foolishly gave her old handset to a friend to use and the friend has now being buying things from the phone which appears to still be logged into my account somehow. We’ve tried to get the phone back with no joy. Any ideas what I can do to log out of everything from the phone without the physical phone please?

I know this device isn't stolen but you may wish to follow the suggestions in -->

If your iPhone or iPad is lost or stolen - Apple Support

- Note that if you remotely erase your device as instructed in this article, if you subsequently remove it from your account as in this article --> Check your Apple ID device list to find where you're signed in - Apple Support , then according to this article --> How to remove Activation Lock - Apple Support you remove activation lock from the device. Do not remove it from your account. If you do then the other person will have an unlocked device they can use. If she is not returning the phone then I presume you would prefer her not to be able to make use of it.
