I don't get Apple Podcasts notifications

I have checked my settings time and time again, both in the Settings app and in the Podcasts app, and based on my settings I should receive notifications when new episodes of podcasts I follow come out. Nevertheless, I've never received any notification.

Has anybody else had this problem? What can I do to solve it?
