iBooks for my child’s ipad

I am able to download books on my own account but when I go onto my kid’s ipad I just got him it is not letting me download any book. It has the GET option but does not download. It has enough storage, it is updated. I do not know what to do.

Books not downloading I recently upgraded to IOS 16 and my books are not downloading,I can open my books app and books are appearing on my list but it wont start to download..any suggestions what to do?

Presumably he is logged into his Apple ID? Are you sharing content through family share?
