I am experiencing an issue with my outgoing emails. When recipients receive an email from me, the name displayed in their inbox is incorrect. However, once they open the email, my correct name appears at the bottom of the message.
I have verified that my contact card and iCloud mail settings are correct, but the issue persists. This has been ongoing for some time.

You could delete your email address just as long as you know your password and re-enter it again. You could also create a duplicate card for them in Contacts but change sort order of first and last name or the Display order and Short Name
Is this with all recipients? Have you checked to make sure you have the correct information in your own contact card? Settings>Contacts>My Info. Are you using Apple's Mail program? Are you using any other devices with this email account?
